De belangrijkste chip van de Component Tester is de DIP, gemakkelijk voor elektronische enthousiastelingen om DIY of update de hoofdchip. De digitale grafische-tester kan worden gebruikt om NPN en PNP transistor gemeenschappelijke emitter stroomversterkingsfactor te testen, de basis-emitter drempelspanning, uit de collector &#8211; emitter lekstroom.<br \/>Hij kan ook een blokgolf genereren, en heeft een PWM (pulsbreedtemodulatie) optie.
