Ik heb een test gedaan met een DOT matrix display (5×7 dot’s) en 2 MCP23017 IC’s1 voor de rij aansturing, 1 voor de kolom aansturing.
(de een op 0 geadresseerd, de ander op 1)

Nu heb ik 4 van die DOT matrix display’s, dat beteken dan 10 kolommen en 14 rijen, dat moet kunnen met het eerder genoemd test
project resultaat:<\/p>

Het geheel bevat 140 leds.Je kan het geheel aansluiten op een aparte voeding, deze hoeft niet van de Arduino te komen.
Middels een level converter<\/a> kan je hem ook aansluiten op 5 Volt terwijl de Arduino maar 3,3 Volt mag hebben.<\/p>

Een volgend project met deze IC’s wordt een IC tester voor logische IC’s tot 16 pins.
